Orjan is a community of homes, and holiday homes, built on hillsides overlooking the beautifull Gulluk bay. The nearest public beach is a short 10 minute walk away and town's regular dolmus service pass nearby. The town centre is 3 kilometres from the Orjan area, a pleasant 30 minutes stroll down the hill and along the seafront promenade to the bustling harbourside.
8km from Bodrum/Milas Airport you will find the charming port town of Gulluk where fishermen, restaurants and cafes line the harbour front. Gulluk will soon have its own marina and is expected to rival that of Bodrum. Many refer to it as the new “Monte Carlo”.
Gulluk, translates to “place of roses”, a charming fishing village that still shows off traditional pastimes but equally abounds with modern living. There are many welcoming bars and restaurants dotted around its pretty bay.
The harbour provides a vibrant spot where fishing boats moor alongside yachts with the locals and tourists mingling on the promenade. During the summer evenings the centre of Gulluk is closed to road traffic allowing people to spill over into the streets and open-air cafes and restaurants.
